Preliminary Sketches For My Shoot 1
These are my sketches to plan the positioning of the models in my upcoming shoot. I intend to have them standing next to eahcother however the pose could cange the messge or mood of the photo drasitcally. I intend to have it almost like a family photo, however I will again cover their face, to add disparity between the calm nature of a family photo and the schoking image of a bag choking those in the frame.
I initially thought that a back to back pose would be a good idea, as I could link it to a rupture in communications, as if the relationship is falling apart. Howver, this may not fit the sort of image I am trying to portray, or even my overall theme very well
I felt that an image with static models would be interesting as it feels more cold an unnatural. More reminiscent of older victorian photos, where they did not pose or smile. I may carry this on but I am not sure as of yet.
This image is more reminiscent of a modern family photo. The calm nature of the image contrasts with the jarring facial coverings. I feel that this image is more visually interesting with an obious use of posing, with the models centre frame. I will likely use this as the final choice for my image.
